What is a Vape and are they safe?

when we say “vaping,” we are referring to the use vaporizing of cannabis, not e-cigarettes like Juul. We carry several types of vape catridges including: Grassroots, Rythm, Airopro, Strane, Curio, Verano, Evolab, and Evermore. The CDC has since identified vitamin E acetate as the likely culprit (or, in their words, “chemical of concern”) in any and all vaping accidents and health concerns. Our vaping products do not currently contain vitamin E acetate. Many marijuana advocacy organizations have warned consumers not to buy THC vape products from unlicensed retailers. Meanwhile, the CDC currently recommends total abstention from vaping THC. We do not take an official stance on the safety of vape related products, if you are concerned about vaping we encourage you to express this to your proffessional tender and they will discuss alternative with you.

What is Flower?

Flower is just a general term that refers to the smokable, trichome-covered part of a female cannabis plant. Flower is the most popular form of cannabis due to its versatility, offering numerous consumption methods, such as being smoked using a pipe or bong, or by rolling it in a joint.

What are Edibles or Consumables?

Edibles or consumable is a term for any form of Marijuana that you ingest. When ingested, cannabinoids enter the bloodstream through the stomach and liver, which increases potency and delays the onset of effects. This process also lengthens the intoxicating effects, sometimes causing them to last from four to six hours. Consumables/edibles can consist of capsules or tablets, chews, elixers, tinctures, oray spray, lozenges, and troches or gummies.

What are Concentrates?

Substances in which the more desirable properties of cannabis, namely cannabinoids and terpenes, have been isolated. There are many cannabis concentrates in a variety of formats and textures. Non-active forms of concentrate need to be heated to experience their effects. Concentrates with active cannabinoids, usually distillate, are infused into edibles, tinctures, and topicals to provide effects without the application of heat.

What are pre-rolls?

Prerolls are essentially premade joints. A joint that has been prepared by a cannabis vendor, dispensary, or brand. Prerolls are consumer-ready and eliminate the hassle of grinding, rolling, and sealing cannabis flower into a joint. Prerolled joints are typically available in strain-specific flavors and vary in weight and potency.

What are Topicals?

A lotion or ointment that is applied directly to the body’s surface. Topicals are utilized for fast-acting localized relief of inflammation and pain. Cannabis topicals are typically non-intoxicating, which allows patients to enjoy the plant’s therapeutic effects without THC’s attendant psychoactivity.

What is Indica, Sativa, and Hybrid?

In the cannabis marketplace, both indica and sativa are heavily associated with their perceived effects. The classic indica definition, which it turns out is overly simplistic, is a strain that produces a strong physical high as opposed to a more cerebral high. For most cannabis users, the term indica evokes memories of haziness, couch lock, and deep relaxation. To the consumer, both sativa and indica are heavily associated with their perceived effect profiles. Most cannabis users will hear the term sativa and think of an energizing, uplifting, and cerebral experience. Hybrid strains currently rule the market, as most marijuana cultivars are either Sativa-dominant or Indica-dominant due to crossbreeding over generations. Hybrid weed effects tend to be more balanced as the marijuana is some combination of Sativa and Indica. Sativa-dominant strains are known to be more energizing, making them ideal for daytime use. Indica-dominant strains are more relaxing, making them a good choice with which to unwind in the evening.
